Thankful that it was raining as it covered up the tears, though it was odd how on this very day it was raining. The weather only showed just how much she was pained. Her hand brushed over the tombstone as her index claw traced over the words engraved in the stone. "You are always keeping your promise. Thank you." ♠♠♠ "I was born to protect you, and only you?" The figure, which stood a good head-and-a-half shorter, standing beside the hollow nodded. Having its eyes on the same tombstone as the hollow did. Where only hours before, the female demon had set. "I...don't understand.." The figure spoke up then, "You may be Ashton, Hollow. But she will always grieve for him." The hollow's ears folded back at this, "Why? I-he's here now." "It's not that Hollow. She knows you're here." "Then why grieve over one that isn't dead?!" The figure gave a sigh. The hollow's temper was getting the better of him once more. Though, for what it's worth, the figure did try to explain as best it could. "Hollow, she grieves because Ashton was lost to her, due to her own stupidity." At once, Hollow stilled as he looked back to the tombstone. His silver irises looking over the words engraved: "I was born to protect you, and only you." He gave a small sad smile. The figure nodded before leaving him alone then. "Even if I may not look like him anymore....He's still here Siren," came Hollow's soft voice. He then turned and went in search of his lover. Somehow knowing, Siren was longing for him then. |
